Thermal Vent Beam Lasers Tested and Fully Explained

The thermal vent experimental effect for beam lasers transfers the heat from your ship into your attacker. This is extremely useful for builds with high heat weapons or modules.

In this in-depth analysis we look at the thermal vent experimental effect for beam lasers. We run the test with each of the six blueprints: Short-Range Blaster, Overcharged, Lightweight, Long-Range, Sturdy, and Efficient. Our goal was to determine which blueprints are better when used for venting heat, silent running or combat.

Thermal Vent is an experimental effect that transfers the heat from your ship into your target, as long as you are striking it. This is best used in conjunction with high heat weapons or builds with modules such as shield cell banks; it may also eliminate the need for heat sinks.

Special thanks to CMDR xxCementxx for allowing me to blast at him repeatedly to produce the testing for this video.
